FRAN'S BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP | |
10 oz. frozen broccoli 1 c. chicken broth 1 tbsp. chopped onion 1/4 tsp. pepper Cook until broccoli is tender 8 to 10 minutes. Put all in blender and blend until smooth. Return to pan and add: 3 1/4 cup skim milk. Bring to boil. Mix 2 teaspoons corn starch with 1/4 cup milk. Stir in soup and simmer 1 minute. Add 6 ounces Velveeta cheese. Stir until melted. Makes 7 cups. 1 cup is 132 calories. |
