CASHEW COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
3/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 c. sour cream
1 3/4 c. cashew nuts

Cream butter and sugar. Beat in egg and vanilla. Add dry ingredients alternately with sour cream. Fold in nuts (don't chop). Drop by teaspoon on cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 14 minutes.

FROSTING:

1/3 c. butter
3 tbsp. cream
1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 c. powdered sugar

Brown butter lightly. Remove from heat. Add remaining ingredients. Beat until smooth.

Excellent cookies not to sweet. I cooked on fanforced (convection) for half the time then switched over to bake for remainder of time. The cookies are crispy when cool which is what we were looking for. Thank you for the recipe.
