1 c. shortening
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. M & M plain candies
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt

Blend shortening and sugars, then beat in vanilla and eggs. Blend "dry" ingredients well, stir in 1/2 cup of candies. Drop by teaspoon on ungreased sheet, decorate tops with remaining candy. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes or golden brown. Makes 6 dozen cookies.
