1/2 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. granulated sugar
1 c. butter
1 tbsp. milk
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
1 c. corn flakes, crumbled
3 c. oats, uncooked
1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
1 1/4 tsp. baking soda
12 oz. chocolate chips

Cream together sugars and shortening. Add milk and vanilla. Beat, then add eggs. Stir in corn flakes and oats. Combine flour and soda, then add and mix thoroughly. Stir in chocolate chips. Bake on greased cookie sheet 10 minutes in 350 degree oven.

Makes about 8 dozen cookies.
