CHEESEBURGER PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 c. dry bread crumbs
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/4 c. chopped onion
1/4 c. chopped green pepper (optional)

CHEESE TOPPING:

1 egg
1/4 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. mustard
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese

Prepare pie crust for a one-crust pie. Preheat oven to 425 degrees. In medium skillet, cook and stir meat until brown, and drain fat. Stir in salt, oregano, chili powder, pepper, bread crumbs, 1/2 cup tomato sauce, the onion and green pepper. Put into uncooked pie crust.

CHEESE TOPPING: Beat egg and milk; stir in seasonings and cheese. Spread cheese topping over top of filling. Bake 30 minutes. If desired, mix remaining tomato sauce and 1/2 cup chili sauce and serve with pie. Serves 6.
