ALMOND PIE 
3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c. dark corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar
3 tbsp. butter, melted
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. salt
Unbaked 9 inch pie shell, chilled
1 c. blanched almonds

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix eggs, syrup, sugar, butter, vanilla, and salt. Turn into pie shell and sprinkle almonds over the top. Bake until firm, about 1 hour (if desired). Serve sprinkled with confectioners' sugar.
