MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
1 1/3 c. sugar
1 c. salad oil
4 eggs
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. cocoa
1 sm. pkg. marshmallows or 1 jar marshmallow creme

ICING:

1 1/2 sticks butter, creamed
1 box powdered sugar
1/2 c. cocoa
1/4 c. evaporated milk (more or less)
1 c. nuts, chopped
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together cake batter ingredients in listed order. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch pan and bake in a 350 degree oven for 15 to 20 minutes.

Remove cake from oven and immediately cover with marshmallows or marshmallow creme. Reduce oven temperature to 300 degrees and cook cake until marshmallows are melted. (Do not do this with marshmallow creme.) Set aside to cool. Mix icing ingredients together in listed order and spread on cooled cake.
