YUM - YUM TORTE 
1 stick butter
1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts
8 oz. pkg. cream cheese
1 c. powdered sugar
1 c. flour
1 pt. Cool Whip
2 pkgs. instant pudding (chocolate, butterscotch or vanilla)

FIRST LAYER: Cream together 1 stick butter, 1 cup flour and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Press into bottom of 9x13x2 pan. Bake 15 minutes at 350 degrees; let cool.

SECOND LAYER: Cream together cream cheese and 1 cup powdered sugar. Add 1/2 of Cool Whip. Spread on top of crust in baking pan.

THIRD LAYER: Mix instant pudding with 3 cups of milk. Beat until thick and spread on top of second layer.
