SAUSAGE CORN BREAD 
1 lb. sausage
1 lg. onion, chopped
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. Martha W. buttermilk self-rising corn meal mix
1 (17 oz.) can cream style corn
3/4 c. milk
1/4 c. vegetable oil
2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated

Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Grease a 10 1/2 inch skillet. Brown sausage and onion in medium skillet, drain well. Combine eggs, corn meal, corn, milk and oil. Pour half mix into pan. Sprinkle with sausage and cheese. Pour remaining batter over top. Bake 30 to 40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes.
