POTATO HAM SCALLOP 
2 c. cubed fully cooked ham
6 med. potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced
1/4 c. finely chopped onion
1/3 c. all purpose flour
2 c. milk
3 tbsp. fine dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp. butter

Place half of the ham in a 2 quart casserole. Cover with half of the potatoes and half of the onion. Stir half of the flour over, season with salt and pepper. Repeat layering ham, potatoes and onions. Season with additional salt and pepper. Sift remaining flour on top. Pour milk over all. Bake covered in 350 degree oven for 1 hour or until potatoes are nearly tender. Uncover. Combine bread crumbs and melted butter. Sprinkle on top of casserole. Bake 15 minutes more. Serves 4 to 6.
