BAKED LASAGNE | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 clove garlic 1 tbsp. parsley flakes 1 tbsp. basil 1 1/2 tsp. salt 1 (1 lb.) can tomatoes 2 (6 oz.) cans tomato paste 10 oz. lasagne noodles, cooked & drained 3 c. (24 oz.) cottage cheese 2 beaten eggs 2 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 2 tbsp. parsley flakes 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese 1 lb. mozzarella cheese Brown beef and drain. Add garlic, parsley, basil, salt, tomatoes and paste. Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes. Combine cottage cheese, eggs, salt, pepper, parsley and Parmesan cheese. Place 1/2 the noodles in 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan, spread 1/2 the cottage cheese mixture, add 1/2 the sliced mozzarella cheese and 1/2 the meat sauce. Repeat layers. Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Garnish with triangles of mozzarella cheese. Let stand 10-15 minutes before serving. |
