ITALIAN CASSEROLE 
1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 (28 oz.) can whole peeled tomatoes, undrained
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
salt and pepper, to taste
1 tbsp. dried parsley
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
8 ounces wide egg noodles, cooked
1 (12 oz.) pkg. cheddar cheese singles

Preheat oven to 350°F. In a large skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Stir in tomatoes, tomato paste, salt, black pepper, parsley and garlic salt. Simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.

In a 2-quart casserole dish combine noodles and tomato mixture. Top with cheese slices and bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until cheese is melted.

Serve with a salad and crescent rolls or biscuits
