TERRY PATAKY'S FORGET - BOILING
- THE NOODLES MICROWAVE LASAGNA
 
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. Ricotta cheese
1/2 lb. shredded Mozzarella cheese
4 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. finely chopped parsley

Homemade or Ragu style tomato sauce
1/8 -1/4 c. wine or water
1 pkg. uncooked lasagna noodles

Mix together ingredients for cheese filling in a bowl and set aside.

For lasagna, place 1/4 cup of spaghetti sauce (homemade or commercially prepared) in the bottom of a greased rectangular casserole pan. Add wine or water to pan bottom and mix. Take uncooked lasagna noodles from box and arrange in a single layer over sauce/wine mixture. Spread part of the cheese filling over the uncooked noodles. Cover cheese filling with tomato sauce. Repeat until you have filled casserole, ending with the sauce on top. Cover with saran wrap and place in microwave for 8 minutes on high (4 minutes on high and turn, then 4 minutes on high again). Rotate pan again and use 40% power setting for 16 minutes. Then turn again on 40% and cook an additional 15-16 minutes.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
