FUDGE OATMEAL BARS 
1 c. butter
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
3 c. oatmeal

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla, and mix well. Add flour, salt and baking soda. Mix. Add oatmeal and mix. Save 1/4 of mixture for top. Put rest of mixture in bottom of 18 x 15-inch pan or 2 (9 x 13-inch) pans.

FILLING:

1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1 (14 oz.) can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Put ingredients in top of double boiler. Heat and stir until melted. Spread filling in thin layer over crust and sprinkle top with reserved oatmeal mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Delicious!
