YELLOW SQUASH CASSEROLE | |
2 c. cooked squash, drained 2 eggs, beaten 1 onion, grated 1 c. milk 1 c. bread crumbs, soft white bread 1/4 lb. sharp cheese, grated 3-5 tbsp. bacon drippings 1 tsp. baking powder Salt & pepper Combine all ingredients and mix well; pour into a casserole dish. Top with buttered cracker crumbs. Do not refrigerate after adding baking powder. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes, uncovered. |
