1 can applesauce
3/4 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 stick butter, melted

Mix sauce and sugar. Mix in beaten egg, flour, vanilla and butter. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Sprinkle top with mixture of 1 tablespoon flour and 2 teaspoons sugar. Bake at 425 degrees until brown. (Use low rack of oven.)
