ORANGE ALASKA PIE 
CRUST:

3 1/2 c. Rice Krispies (crushed to 1 c.)
1 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
1/2 c. flaked coconut

Mix and press in pie pan bottom and sides.

FILLING:

2 c. vanilla ice cream
2 c. orange sherbet

Mix together. Put in crust and cover with:

3 egg whites, room temperature
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 tbsp. sugar

Spread over pie, sealing edges, freeze overnight. Bake 475 degrees for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes.
