PRALINES 
2 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar, packed
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. condensed milk
1/4 c. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
3 c. broken pecans

Mix sugars, milk, butter and salt in heavy saucepan. Bring to rolling boil slowly over medium heat. Add nuts, continue boiling until candy reaches soft ball stage. Remove from heat, stir only to give mixture a creamy look. Spoon onto buttered baking sheet. Cool. Yield: 6 dozen.
