HOMEMADE KAHLUA 
4 c. sugar
1 qt. water
2 1/2 oz. Tasters Choice instant coffee
1 qt. water
2 oz. pure vanilla extract
1 fifth 95% etoh (Everclear)
1/2 fifth brandy (Christian Bros.)

Heat sugar and water until sugar dissolves. (Do not boil.) Heat instant coffee and water until boiling. Mix sugar and coffee mixtures together. Cool to room temperature. Add vanilla, everclear and brandy. Makes 1 gallon of Kahlua.

A very good recipe however, I am not a fan of instant coffee. I found instead cut the ammount of water in half and use a carafe of very strong fresh brewed coffee.
