HAM AND PINEAPPLE | |
1 slice ham, 1 inch thick, center cut 2 c. milk 2 tbsp. butter 1 (#2) can sliced pineapple Soak ham in milk for 4 hours. When ready to cook remove ham from milk and place in hot skillet with butter. Cook slowly until brown, brown other side. Transfer ham to platter and place at 250 degrees where it will stay hot but not cook. Put slices of pineapple in pan with ham juice and brown on both sides. Place on top of ham and around it. Mix pineapple juice with ham gravy in skillet; pour over ham. Allow 1/4 to 1/3 pound per serving. |
