DATE NUT BALLS 
8 oz. dates, cut up
1 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 egg

Combine together in pan, cook 4 or 5 minutes after it comes to a boil. Remove from heat, add 3 cups Rice Krispies and 3/4 cup nuts. Stir until blended. Form into balls while warm and roll in coconut.
