VIENNESE TORTE 
6 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1/2 c. butter, very soft
1/4 c. hot water
4 egg yolks
2 tbsp. powdered sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 loaf pound cake, homemade or frozen
Whipped cream

In saucepan, mix chocolate, butter and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until smooth. Cool slightly, add egg yolks, sugar and vanilla. Chill until thickened enough to spread.

Slice pound cake horizontally into five layers. Spread thin layer of frosting between layers of cake. Frost outside of cake. Serve thin slices of torte with lightly sweetened whipped cream.
