CHOCOLATE CAKE 
3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
6 tbsp. cocoa
3/4 c. salad oil
2 c. water
2 tbsp. vinegar
2 tsp. vanilla

Sift flour into large mixing bowl. Add remaining dry ingredients and stir. In separate bowl, mix oil, water, vinegar and vanilla. Gradually add to dry ingredients; mix well. Pour into 9"x13" greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool. Top with Chocolate Icing.

CHOCOLATE ICING:

2 tbsp. cocoa
1 1/2 c. sugar
7 tbsp. milk
2 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. Crisco
1 tbsp. corn syrup
1/4 tsp. salt

Bring above ingredients to a boil for 1 minute. Pour over cake.
