MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
5 qts. popped popcorn
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter
1/4 c. corn syrup

In glass container mix all but the popcorn and microwave 3 to 4 minutes. Stir after each minute until boiling. Boil 2 minutes. Remove from microwave and add 1/2 teaspoon baking soda. Place popcorn in brown paper bag. Pour caramel over popcorn. Stir microwave 1 1/2 minutes in paper bag. Shake bag. Cook 1 more minute. Remove from bag.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
