FRANKFURTER PIE 
1 c. diced raw potatoes (1 lg.)
1 c. diced raw carrots (2)
3/4 c. sliced onions (1 med.)
3 tbsp. catsup
1 1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
2 tbsp. flour
2 tbsp. water
2 lg. franks, sliced 1/4" thick
Bread slices

Cook potatoes, carrots, onions, catsup, water and salt together in a covered pan until vegetables are tender.

Mix flour and 2 tablespoons water to smooth paste. Add to vegetables and simmer, stirring constantly, until sauce is thickened. Add sliced franks. Pour into a greased 1 quart casserole. Arrange lightly buttered slices on top. Bake in a hot oven at 450 degrees until golden brown.
