NEW ENGLAND YAM BAKE 
1 (20 oz.) pineapple slices
2 (17 oz.) canned yams, drained
1/4 c. flour
3 tbsp. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. nuts (optional)
1 c. sm. marshmallows

Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup syrup. Line sides of 6x10 inch baking dish with pineapple. Place chopped-up yams in dish. Pour syrup over yams. Combine dry ingredients, cut in butter, add nuts. Sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes uncovered. Top with marshmallows. Place under broiler to brown. Watch carefully!
