EASTER BREAD 
2 pkgs. yeast
1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. salt
5 to 6 c. flour
2 1/2 c. milk

Put yeast in 1/4 cup water with 1 teaspoon sugar - let rise until double. Mix butter, sugar, eggs until blended. Add salt. Mix in flour and milk. Knead until smooth. Let rise until double. Make into loaves. Rise for 1 hour. Brush with egg. Bake at 325 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Makes 3 loaves.
