KAREN'S SALSA 
4 cloves garlic
1 bunch green onions
1 bunch fresh cilantro
8 yellow chiles
2 serrano chiles
2 jalapeno chiles
1 (4 oz.) can Ortega diced chiles
8 (14 oz.) cans Del Monte Mexican Style Stewed Tomatoes

Chop garlic in food processor for 10 seconds. Add white part of onion. Chop for 10 seconds. Add green part and chop coarsely. Add cilanto leaves and chop for 5 seconds. Set aside. Roast fresh chiles in cast iron skillet until soft and browned. Set aside.

Blend tomatoes in blender (2 cans at a time) until coarsely chopped. Leave 1 cup tomatoes in blender and add fresh chiles and puree. Mix greens, diced Ortega chiles and puree. Mix greens, diced Ortega chiles, and tomatoes together. Add tomato/chile mixture until desired degree of hotness is achieved.
