RUFFED GROUSE AND WILD RICE 
16 pieces grouse (raw)
2 cans cream of celery soup
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 can drained mushrooms
2 cans water
1 pkg. dry onion soup mix
1 c. wild rice washed, soaked in hot water
1 c. white rice

Mix all ingredients except grouse in 9 x 13 inch baking pan. Lay grouse pieces on top of mixture. Salt grouse. Bake, covered with foil at 350 degrees for 1 hour. Uncover, continue baking about 1/2 hour or until rice is cooked. Serves 6.

This dish may be made equally well using all wild rice instead of half white rice.

I used pre-cooked wild rice and cooked the grouse in pan and finished it in the mix. It was done in 30 min and delicious.
