1 gallon sliced cucumbers
2 or 3 sm. onions, sliced
1/4 c. salt
3 c. sugar
2 tsp. mustard seed
1 tsp. pickling spice
1 tsp. celery seed
1 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. turmeric
1 qt. vinegar

Mix everything except onion and cucumbers and bring to a boil. Then add cucumbers and onions. Let come to boil and pack in clean warm jars and seal. Have lids and rings hot.
