8 c. sliced peaches
7 c. sugar
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Mash ingredients together. Cook slowly stirring constantly until mixture is thick. Seal in hot sterilized jars.
