STRAWBERRY JAM MADE WITH FROZEN
STRAWBERRIES
 
2 1/2 c. sugar
2 2/3 c. (2 - 12 oz. boxes) frozen sliced strawberries, thawed
4 tbsp. (1/2 box) Sure Jell fruit pectin

Measure sugar and set aside. Combine thawed strawberries and mix 1/3 cup of water and Sure Jell in large saucepan.

Put over high heat and bring to boil, stirring constantly. At once stir in sugar, bring to boil again; boil hard 1 minute, stirring constantly.

Remove from heat, skim off foam and pour into glasses. No paraffin necessary if used within 2 months. Just cover and store in refrigerator. Mix contents of package thoroughly before measuring. Makes 5 glasses. 2 1/2 pounds.
