QUICK HOMEMADE ROLLS | |
2 c. lukewarm water 1/2 c. sugar 2 pkgs. dry yeast 3/4 c. melted shortening 4 c. self-rising flour Dissolve yeast in water. Add shortening and flour alternately. Pour out on a floured board. Roll out and cut. Place on a greased pan and let rise for 30 minutes. Top with butter and bake until golden brown. Dough can be refrigerated and baked later. |
