DANG GOOD PIE 
3/4 stick butter
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
3 tbsp. all-purpose flour
3 eggs
1 c. coconut
1 9" pie shell

Melt butter and mix with remaining ingredients. Pour filling into unbaked pie shell and bake 50-60 minutes at 350 degrees or until set and brown.

PIE CRUST:

3/4 c. vegetable shortening, solid
2 c. flour
1 pinch salt
3/4 c. cold water

Mix quickly, roll out thin. Makes top and bottom. Bake 40-45 minutes.
