SCALLOPED POTATOES AND HAM | |
Allow 2 med. potatoes and 1/2 lb. ham per person 2 onions 1 portion of lo-cal soup mix (equals 1 - 10.5 oz. can condensed cream soup) 1 portion of lo-cal soup mix is: 1/2 c. soup mix plus 1 c. water Bake 325 degrees 1 1/2 hours. LO-CAL SOUP MIX: 2 c. instant nonfat dry milk 1/4 c. instant chicken bouillon granules (I use Watkins product) 1/4 tsp. pepper 3/4 c. cornstarch 1 tsp. basil 1 tsp. thyme 5 tbsp. dried onion flakes This lo-cal soup mix can be used in place of any cream soup. It should be stored in air tight (or tupperware) container at room temperature for up to six months. 1/2 cup lo-cal soup mix plus 1 cup water is equivalent to 1 (10.5 oz.) can cream soup. |
