PEANUT BUTTER AND JAM FRENCH
TOAST
 
1/2 c. creamy peanut butter
1/3 c. strawberry jam
12 slices white bread
3 lg. eggs
3/4 c. milk
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. butter

Make 6 sandwiches with peanut butter and jam. Place peanut butter on one side of the bread and jam on other, facing each other.

Beat eggs, milk and salt with wire whisk in a large shallow dish.

Quickly dip each sandwich into egg mixture, turning so both sides are coated, but not soaked.

Melt butter in a large electric skillet. Cook sandwiches in butter over medium heat, 4 minutes on each side or until browned. Serve immediately.

Makes 6 sandwiches.
