CREAMED PEAS 
2 pkgs. frozen peas
6 tbsp. melted butter
1 finely chopped green onion
1/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. heavy cream
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper

Prepare frozen peas according to package directions. Drain. Keep warm. In a pot cook green onion in butter for 5 minutes. Add peas; cook for 5 minutes. Blend in remaining ingredients, except cream. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Cover; cook slowly for 10 minutes. Add cream. Cook until heated. Serves 6.
