6 oz. cream cheese 2 tubes refrigerated biscuits 1/2 c. sugar 1 tsp. cinnamon (ground) 3 tbsp. melted butter 1/2 c. nuts, chopped Cut the cream cheese into 20 pieces and roll into balls. Roll each biscuit to about a 3 inch circle. Combine the cinnamon and sugar. Put 1 cheese ball and 1 teaspoon of the sugar mixture on each biscuit circle. Pull up the edges of the circle and pinch the dough together to seal. Pour the melted butter into the bottom of a 5 cup ring mold or angel food pan. Sprinkle half of the nuts and half of the remaining sugar mixture into the mold. Place half of the rolls on top of this, seam side up. Repeat layers. Bake in a 375 degree oven for 20 minutes, or until browned. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan, then invert onto serving plate. Serve warm. Makes 20 "bubbles". |
