POTATO AND MEAT SCALLOP 
1 1/2 lb. ground beef
2 tsp. onion
2 tsp. flour
4 c. raw potatoes, finely sliced
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. butter
2 c. milk

Brown onion and meat together. Prepare white sauce by melting butter and adding flour, salt and milk. Cook until thick, stirring constantly. Grease baking dish; add alternately: potatoes, meat and white sauce. Cover and bake 50 to 60 minutes at 350 degrees.

NOTE: Cream of mushroom soup may be substituted for white sauce.
