LOUISIANA WILD RICE DRESSING 
1 lb. wild rice
1 lg. bunch green onions
1 lg. can sliced mushrooms
1 lg. chopped bell pepper
1/2 lb. pork sausage
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. thyme
1 tsp. sugar
Dash of garlic
1 pt. oysters & liquid

Wash rice and cook in boiling water until tender. Meantime, fry onions, mushrooms, pepper and sausage. Combine rice, sausage mixture, oysters and seasonings in large baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Do not allow to dry out. Serves 12.
