BLUEBERRY GINGERBREAD 
1/2 c. butter
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. flour
3 tbsp. molasses
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 1/2 c. blueberries
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 tbsp. sugar

Cream butter and sugar together, then mix in egg. Sift together flour, ginger, cinnamon and salt. Dissolve the baking soda in the buttermilk; mix alternately with dry ingredients into the creamed mixture. Add molasses; fold in blueberries. Pour batter into greased and floured 9x9 inch pan. Sprinkle sugar over top of batter. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 minutes. Serve warm with whipped cream or ice cream.
