CHIVE BREAD 
1 unsliced loaf French bread
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/3 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 c. finely snipped chives

Slash bread in 1-inch slices cutting to, but not through, bottom crust. Combine butter, cheese, and chives; spread on one side of each slice of bread. Wrap loaf loosely in heavy-duty foil. Place on edge of grill. Grill over slow coals about 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through, turning frequently.
