ZITI A LA STRADA | |
1 lb. ziti 10 lg. cherrystone clams, raw 1/2 lb. lobster meat, fresh or frozen 1/2 lb. cooked shrimp 1 c. olive oil 4 cloves garlic 1 med. can Italian tomatoes Salt, pepper, oregano, chopped parsley Brown 2 cloves crushed garlic in pan with 1/2 cup oil. Add lobster, clams, shrimp. Cook ziti in pot of boiling water until half done. Add ziti to seafood and steam 5 minutes on low heat with pan covered. Two minutes before completion, add dippers sauce. SAUCE: Brown 2 cloves crushed garlic in pan with rest of olive oil. Add tomatoes and cook 20 minutes on low heat. Five minutes before done, add salt, pepper, oregano, and parsley. Serves 5. |
