BAKED CUSTARD 
4 eggs, beat lightly
2 1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
2 tsp. cornstarch dissolved in a sm. amt. of milk

Stir all together and pour into buttered custard cup. Place cups in pan with 1/2 inch or so of water. Place in oven. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 or 30 minutes or until center is solid. This also will make a 9 inch pie.
