CHOCOLATE CREAM CHEESE DESSERT 
CRUST: :

1 c. flour
1 stick butter
2 tsp. sugar
1/2 c. crushed walnuts

Mix ingredients - cut butter into flour - add nuts - pat into bottom of 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Let cool.

1ST LAYER:

8 oz. softened cream cheese
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 c. Cool Whip

Cream sugar and cream cheese with mixer. Fold in Cool Whip. Spread over crust.

2ND LAYER:

2 sm. pkg. instant chocolate pudding
3 c. cold milk

Beat together until thick. Spread over cream cheese mixture. Spread Cool Whip on top and sprinkle with slivered almonds.
