BEEF STEW 
2 lbs. stewing beef
2 tbsp. fat
1 garlic, minced
1 bay leaf
6 onions
1 c. green peas
6 carrots
6 potatoes, diced
1/2 tsp. Gravy Master
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. pepper (black)

Melt fat in saucepan and brown meat, add onions, bay leaf, Gravy Master, salt, black pepper and 2 1/2 cups water Let cook for 2 hours, then add your vegetables and simmer for 1 hour except for peas, put them in when everything else is done.
