CHICKEN & SAUSAGE 
1 chicken, cut up
1 lb. sausage (polish or smoked, cut up)
1 lg. can whole tomatoes
1 green pepper, sliced
Fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/3 c. flour
Red pepper flakes
Olive oil
1 c. white wine or chicken broth
Bay leaf
2 lg. cloves garlic, diced
Basil
Dried parsley
Salt & pepper to taste

Salt, pepper and coat chicken with flour. Brown in olive oil. Remove to platter. Brown sausage and remove. Saute green pepper, onions and mushrooms. Add tomatoes. Stir. Add white wine or chicken broth and spices. Stir until slightly thickened. Add more flour if needed. Return chicken and sausage and cover. Cook until tender. Serve with rice or pasta or cheese garlic grits.
