PICKLED BEAN SALAD 
1 #2 can waxed green beans
1 can red kidney beans, drained
1 green pepper, slivered
1 onion, chopped
2/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
2/3 c. oil

Drain liquid from the beans. Add pepper and onion. Add sugar, vinegar and oil. Salt and pepper to taste. Mix well and let stand overnight.
