BEST EVER BROWNIES 
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. butter
4 eggs
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syryp
1 c. flour
1 c. chopped nuts

In large bowl, cream sugar and butter. Add eggs one at a time. Beat well. Add flour and nuts. Stir in syrup. Spread in greased 9 x 13 inch pan. Bake 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.

ICING:

1 1/2 c. sugar
6 tbsp. evaporated milk
1/2 c. chocolate chips
6 tbsp. butter

In saucepan, combine sugar, butter, evaporated milk. Heat over medium heat. Do not stir. Boil 30 seconds. Remove from heat, add chocolate chips. Beat until thick. Spread over brownies.
