BEEF PORCUPINES
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. uncooked white rice
2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1/2 tsp. celery salt
2 tbsp. chopped green pepper
2 tbsp. finely chopped onion
1 sm. clove garlic, minced
4 c. tomato juice
6 whole cloves
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp. sugar

Mix uncooked ground beef and rice together; add salt, pepper, celery salt, green pepper, onion, garlic and mix well. Form into small balls. Pour tomato juice into large skillet; add cloves, Worcestershire sauce and sugar. Mix well and bring to a boil. Add meatballs. Cover and simmer over low heat for one hour or until rice and center of meatballs are tender. Occasionally, remove lid and turn meatballs to keep them covered with sauce. Add more tomato juice to make more sauce, if desired. Some of the rice will cook into the tomato sauce to thicken.
